Paul Willis is a writer and journalist. Born and raised in north-east England he began his writing career in his mid-twenties working as a reporter on his hometown paper. Since then he has traveled the globe. So too has his writing, which has appeared in media across the English-speaking world, including CNN, VICE and various major newspapers in Britain, Australia and North America.

He writes poetry and in recent years has taught himself animation – these two loves brought together in his Poetry in Motion channel on YouTube.

He lives in the Hudson Valley, New York, with his wife – a visual artist – and his daughter.
